Meramec Sharks Jersey Fitting Information
2026-2027 Season
!!PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!
Please read this guide carefully. We have a few procedure changes this season, so it's important that all families understand the fitting process and deadlines.
My name is Michael Fedke, Equipment Director. I oversee jersey number assignments and the security of every player's jersey number. We are excited to partner again with South City Sporting Goods at The Shark Tank for all fittings and orders.
A few things to note...
● If your child is a 2019 birth year or older, and will be playing for a team this season, you are required to
purchase team jerseys and socks.
● If you already own a set, it is not necessary to purchase again unless your child has outgrown them.
● We will continue to issue jersey numbers in the following manner:
Odd Birth Year = Odd Number
Even birth year = Even Number
For example, a player born in 2010 cannot get the number 13.
**Numbers are assigned on a first come, first serve basis**
Fitting Sessions
● ● Incoming 8u & NEW Sharks players who need a number will have their own fitting dates where numbers will be chosen.
○ New 8U and Players new To Sharks: Thursday, July 9th...6:00pm-8:00pm
○ Returning Players and New players Final Fitting Dates:
Thursday, July 30th...6:00pm-8:00pm
Tuesday, August 11th...6:00pm-8:00pm
● Existing Sharks Players Who Don't Need a new Number to be Picked
○ Please stop by South City Sporting Goods @ The Shark Tank during their business hours to be fitted.
***ALL ORDERS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY Saturday, August 15th***
To ensure you receive your jersey before 10/1.
If you do not place your order by this date, you will not receive your jersey until after 10/15. And could be
longer if your order is not received.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
If you are purchasing your first set of jerseys you must attend a fitting.
● You must bring your player, their shoulder and shin pads. Do not attempt a fitting after ice
time – no sweaty try-ons!
If this is your first season with the Sharks, you will be picking your child’s jersey number at the fitting (this
number will stay with them unless you request to change it).
● We highly suggest coming to one of the first dates if you have a specific number in mind
because it is first come first serve and we will not be taking email requests.
● If you need a number for the first time, or are switching your jersey number, you must
attend a fitting. We will not take email requests.
**Numbers are assigned on a first come, first serve basis**
If you are still in the 6u age level, you do NOT need to attend a fitting.
JERSEY REORDER
If you need jerseys due to growth, please just stop by South City Sportings Goods @ The Shark Tank to
submit/pay for your order, and double check sizing at your convenience.
Just stop by the shop and Billy and his team will assist you.
You must do this before Saturday, August 15th to ensure you have your jersey on time!
GOALIE JERSEYS
● All goalies that need jerseys will go through the same process as other players for your fittings.
● Please bring your upper padding for accurate sizing.
COST & PAYMENT
The total cost of the jersey package remains the same at $325...this includes home/away jerseys and
home/away socks. Fully stitched tackle twill jerseys.
● The cost of jerseys are $125 ea.
● The cost of the socks are $37.50 ea.
Full payment is due at the time of the fitting.
We will accept cash, check, or credit card.
If you would like to order additional jerseys as “fan wear” you can do so at the time of the fitting.
If you would like to order additional socks, you can do so at the time of the fitting as well.
***ALL ORDERS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY SATURDAY, AUGUST 15th***
Anyone who does not order before 8/15 is subject to a $50 late charge, as there are additional charges incurred when ordering.
Loaner jerseys will no longer be available this season.

MERAMEC SHARKS – TOURNAMENT UNIFORM GUIDELINES ('THIRD JERSEY”)
During the Summer of 2020, the MHC Board of Directors agreed to officially adopt and trial the Tournament Uniform (A.K.A, the Third Jersey”) program. This has been an un-official concept at our club over the past few years and was originally taken on by individual teams without club oversight. Although Missouri Hockey requires our team to have a standard uniform, The MHC Board of Directors supports and encourages our members to have pride and motivation in their own individual teams.

Once artwork and deposit are confirmed, delivery is 17 business days (15 production +
2 shipping).
