Richard Stanko Memorial Fund
The Richard Stanko Memorial Fund was created to help families of the Meramec Hockey Club who need financial assistance to allow their children to play hockey. The Meramec Hockey Club holds at least one fundraiser a year in order to raise money for the Stanko fund. In the past, the club has had a Barbecue, A Night at the Races event and the end of the year Ice Meltdown Party as fundraisers. Thank you to our members and their friends and families for continuing to support and attend these events so that Meramec Hockey Club can provide financial assistance for young people that have the desire to play youth ice hockey. Thank you to the Stanko Family for establishing such a wonderful charity for our hockey club!
"Thanks to everyone who made the first annual Richard Stanko Memorial Barbecue a success. The overwhelming support of so many families was truly appreciated, and our Dad would have been very proud of all of you. The fund was established in 2002 with the intent to assist families in need within the Meramec Hockey Club with their fees."
