Meramec Select Hockey:
For the upcoming 2008 spring season, we are very proud to
announce that Meramec will be establishing Club Select teams.
The mission of this program is to continue to develop Travel players in a
more competitive setting and coaches will be announced soon.
The program will consist of approximately 15
hours of high-intensity practices over a 7 week period.
The cost for this program is a very competitive $195.00.
This includes all ice, practice games and jerseys.
In addition, all the practice ice will be located at our home ice at the
Shark Tank.
In
mid-May, we will travel as a club with all of our teams to
Chicago to participate in tournament play.
Tournament details are still being finalized and will be updated in
January.
Please
note that all of the Meramec Select teams are open tryouts to anyone within the
MOAM district. Registration
information will be available on line at www.meramecsharks.com
in early January.
Spring
4-on-4
League:
Based on last year’s overwhelming success, Meramec will
once again offer a 4-on-4 program to be held at the Shark Tank.
The program this spring will offer approximately 12 games with practices
mixed in to help with the development of the players.
The premise behind the 4-on-4 concept is to open the ice up a bit and
give the players a bit more time for the puck on the tape.
This program is available for the Mite through Bantam levels.
This
year’s cost will once again be incredibly affordable.
The total cost will be $110.00 for out skaters, and GOALIES will once
again be FREE to all who register.
The price includes a checking clinic for all 4-on-4 registered PeeWees.
This
program is open to the public, so it will fill up quickly.
Registration will begin in early January at
www.meramecsharks.com
Spring HIP:
As we did last year, Meramec will be offering a spring HIP
program for the youngsters ages 3-9.
This program will be a six week program and is designed to help the future
Sharks develop their skills. As we
have in the past, we will be offering the “Bring a Buddy” program.
Additional details and registration information will be available
shortly.
